Our last mare was due to foal last week and she is still not showing any signs but I think if dosent foal soon she will pop.

The foals are finally coming over the past two weeks we had three more another filly, out of Silver pearl and by Currachmore (fingers crossed that she turns out like her full brother Colmcile Cashel, so far so good) The next foal was a filly too, this time by Cuileog Cashel and out of Kilchreest Cashel, a typical Cuileog foal, Solid and full of presents. The next mare that foaled was Doe Daisy who had the only colt so far this year by Rathcoona Cove and what a show off he is.
Killchreest Cashels Filly Foal (3 days)
Silver Pearls Filly Foal (4 hours old)

We had our second foal of the year, out of Doe Primrose and by Kirrin Malachi, another filly and this one looks to be a good type too.

News from England~our five year old stallion Coolillaun Cashel has started his second year under saddle with much success, he won at his first two shows and just last week he won at the N.C.P.A. spring show and qualified for equifest.

We had our first foal of the year, out of Cloughan Og Cashel and by Smokey Idea, at ten day old she looks to be a good mover and she has very good conformation.

Tolka Bridge 1974~2010
Sadly on easter Sunday we lost one of our oldest mares, Tolka Bridge. Just days after yet another of her colts was given class one status in Clifden and her most famous son is the reigning Clifden champion, she passed away in the field at our house which has been her home for the last 18 years since she has been with us. She has been our foundation mare and is solely to thank for making our stud what it is today. At age 36 she was still the boss in the herd until last Sunday afternoon when she lay down to die. The following link is to the biography, Niamh O Dochartaigh did on Tolka Bridge last year. Link To T.B. Bio
(More Info On The Above Stallions Is Available On The Stallions Page)
All four stallions will be at the up coming stallion parades in Mullingar (21 March) and Clifden (28 March).
Full stables at the start of what is to be a long season
